The 2nd Amendment
 There are many gun grabbers in Congress, who, time after time, prove to us what they really think of Americans. They honestly seem to believe that we, the American people, aren’t good enough or smart enough to take care of ourselves. They honestly think that government knows best. On Second Amendment Rights, the liberals say we need gun control. What they are really saying is that we, law-abiding Americans, can’t be trusted with guns. We might shoot ourselves. But you and I know two things: Firearms in the hands of American citizens, who are properly trained in their safe use, reduce crime – dramatically; and, the one thing that criminals prefer more than any other is unarmed victims. Free citizens have the right to protect their family and their property through the right to keep and bear arms.
It is now election time again, the time when liberal politicians put on an orange jacket, an NRA cap, grab a shotgun and pose for that all-important photo. Whom are they kidding? The Second Amendment is not about hunting. It’s about the individual right of you and me to be secure in our homes and, perhaps more important, it is about our duty to protect and defend our neighbors, our community, our nation.
Americans skilled in the proper use of firearms have defended our liberty since Lexington and Concord. We must not let liberals chip away at this right.
